A power series type pre-distorter for multi-frequency bands is provided to suppress distortion components generated from a power amplifier by generating odd order distortion of each frequency band. A linear transfer path(PL) is composed of a delay element(5) for delaying input signals. A division unit divides the input signals into the linear transfer path and N distortion generation paths(PD1,PD2). N variable band signal extractors(111,112) are inserted in the N distortion generating paths in order to extract signals of N different frequency bands from the input signals. N distortion generators(131a,132a) are inserted in the N distortion generating paths in order to generate distortion components of a predetermined odd order of the signals of the N frequency bands. A combining unit combines an output of the linear transmission path and outputs of the N distortion generating paths, and outputs a combining result of the pre-distorter. A frequency band controller(6) controls frequency bands of the N variable band signal extractors.
