A light emitting device having connecting terminals is provided to improve convenience of a driving without employing a separated printed circuit board by using the connecting terminals. A convex unit and a concave unit are formed on sides of a substrate(100). A first electrode(160a) is formed at a side of the substrate. A second electrode(160b) is formed on the other side of the substrate. A light emitting chip(180) is mounted on the first electrode. A wire(200) connects the light emitting chip to the second electrode. A hollow-shaped housing is formed on the substrate not to screen a light emitted from the light emitting chip. A molding unit is formed on the hollow unit of the housing to encapsulate the light emitting chip and the wire.
