The roller has a circulating roller shell (12) and a yoke (14) axially penetrating the shell in torque proof manner, where a hydraulic supporting source (16) is arranged between the yoke and the shell. A unit is provided for detecting roller shell movement and a piezo stack actuator (34) is provided for the regulation of hydraulic pressure under the source and/or on the supporting source based on the detected movement.
