A prism sheet employed in a backlight unit is provided to form a second prism shape part on a base part in addition to a first prism shape part, thereby improving diffusion of incident light from a light guide panel, thereby improving luminance of light. A prism sheet employed in a backlight unit includes a prism supporting part(400), a base part(410) and a first prism shape part(420) formed in sequence. The base part is formed with a second prism shape part(430) for diffusing light passing through the prism supporting part from a light guide panel and emitting the diffused light to the first prism shape part, thereby improving luminance of the light. Angles corresponding to the first and second prism shape parts are each equal, and size of the second prism shape part is in the range from 10% to 30% of that of the first prism shape part. |
