A method of fabricating a coating type of phase retardation film and a coating type of phase retardation film manufactured using the method are provided to coat an alignment film and liquid crystal on a base film to simplify the fabrication process and increase production yield. A method of fabricating a coating type of phase retardation film includes a step of coating an alignment film(200) on a base film(300), a step of drying the alignment film, a step of UV(Ultra-Violet)-curing the alignment film, a step of rubbing the alignment film, a step of coating liquid crystal(100) on the alignment film, a step of drying the liquid crystal layer, and a step of UV-curing the liquid crystal layer. |
