Polymer compound for foamable molded parts comprises: a base polymer of polyethylene and/or polyethylene copolymers; a thermochemically reacting propellant preparation for foaming the base polymer leading to a foam structure; a cross linking agent for fixing the base polymer in the foam structure; optionally additives for influencing the foam formation and the cross-linking reactions; and a combination of unsaturated polyester resins and siloxanes at 0.1-15 wt.%. An independent claim is included for foamable molded parts comprising the polymer compound, manufactured by extruding, injection molding or 2-component-injection molding e.g. with a constructionally working polyamide part.
