Configuration method for control devices

The method involves embedding a data memory (11) into a machine control, where the machine control has a configured control device (2) with a data memory. A control device to be configured communicates with the configured control device over a data connection, and refers these configuration data for its self configuration. The configuration data is stored in the data memory control device to be configured.
