A system and a method for a location-based mobile game are provided to increase user's desire for using the mobile game by mapping real space to a game space, and offering diverse benefits like free call, and discount for a restaurant and a movie theater in case that the user occupies a location of the game space. A game server(500) advances the game in a game program comprising virtual space mapped to the real space through a user terminal(100). An SCP(Service Control Point)(400) obtains area information occupied by the user in the virtual space from the game server and stores the obtained location information. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(300) checks whether a currently registered location of the user terminal is matched with a user located area of the SCP if the user connects a call in a specific location with the user terminal. A billing server(600) discounts a call charge of the user based on user information received from the MSC in the case that the currently registered location is matched with the user located area. |
