DEVICE FOR EMITTING WHITE LIGHT AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

A white light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve optical absorption efficiency and optical conversion efficiency by using a phosphor and a metal nano particle having SPR(Surface Plasmon Resonance) wavelength as a polymer resin. A white light emitting device comprises a light emitting diode(110) mounted on a support part, a bonding wire for connecting the support part to the light emitting diode, and a polymer resin(130) surrounded to the light emitting diode. Metal nano particles(133) dispersed with phosphors(131) are used as the polymer resin. The metal nano particle has a surface plasmon resonance wavelength.
