A premixing compression magnetic ignition type internal combustion engine is provided to acquire information through sensors disposed in cylinders and processing the acquired information by using an ECU. A premixing compression magnetic ignition type internal combustion engine includes a plurality of cylinders, sensors, an ignition unit, an intake valve(14), an exhaust valve(15), and a control unit. The sensors detect information related to the combustion states of the cylinders. The control unit acquires information related to the combustion states of the cylinders from the sensors. The control unit confirms a cylinder showing the severest combustion and controls at least one of the valve timing of the intake valve, the valve timing of the exhaust valve, and the fuel injection amount of the cylinder.
