The tibia component (1) is designed as a rectangular base (11) with rounded corners fitted with two extensions (12a,12b) at its upper surface. Each of the extensions (12a,12b) is of a trapezoidal shape with its wider end joined to the base (11). The elements (12a,12b) are attached to the base (11) in an inclined position, leaning towards the center of the base (11) and forming an acute angle between their lower ends. The front of each of the extensions (12a,12b) is provided with a chamfer.
