The roller has a bearing source arranged between a cover and a roll shell. The source is sealingly and movably guided in a radial bearing source through hole provided in the cover. A pressure chamber of the source is provided with pressure fluid by a throttle which is arranged near a radial section (28`) of a supply channel (28). The diameter of the section is larger than or equal to half the diameter of the through hole.
