<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove paper powder and dust adhered to a printing mechanism 7 and a pickup roller 11 in a portable printer 1. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning sheet 60 is set in a paper storing part 6 in a body case so that a non-adhesive layer part 60a abuts on the pickup roller 11, the pickup roller 11 is driven by operating a driving motor, and the non-adhesive layer part 60a is passed between a platen roller 9 and a paper guide 10 and a thermal head 8. After the driving is stopped in an exposed state of the tip of the non-adhesive layer part 60a to a paper discharge port 20, mold release paper inside out on the back side of the cleaning sheet 60 is peeled and an adhesive layer part 60b is exposed. In this state, the tip of the non-adhesive layer part 60a is pulled by a hand to take out the cleaning sheet 60, and paper powder and dust adhered to the pickup roller 11, the platen roller 9, the paper guide 10, and the thermal head 8 are adsorbed to the adhesive layer part 60b to be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
