The impingement-drying arrangement (10) comprises at least one longitudinally stretching track (22) along which the fibre strips are led from a sieve (26). There is at least one oriented blow hood (28) next to the drying track as well as at least one suction roller (12) and or at least one stabiliser chest (14) via which the fibre strips are guided through the sieve. The suction roller and/or stabiliser chest has a narrow transition zone (16) on the edge side.
