A method for forming a decorative pattern of a pipe and an article are provided to prevent the decorative pattern from being peeled off and to secure good design effect by forming the decorative pattern by infiltrating a decorative pattern ink of a sublimation film into epoxy paint applied on the outer surface. The method for forming a decorative pattern of a pipe(1) comprises the steps of: applying and hardening epoxy paint(2) on the surface of the pipe in the predetermined thickness(S1); making a sublimation film(4) printed with the decorative pattern by ink, in a cylinder form of the size enough to be inserted into the outside of the pipe(S2); inserting the cylindrical sublimation film into the outside of the pipe coated with the epoxy paint(S3); combining the sublimation film and jigs(5,5a) to both ends of the pipe and then completely bringing the pipe into contact with the sublimation film by making a gap between the outer side of the pipe and the inside of the sublimation film vacuum by taking out the air(S4); forming the decorative pattern by infiltrating the decorative pattern of the sublimation film into the epoxy paint applied on the surface of the pipe by applying heat to the sublimation film perfectly coming into contact with the outer side of the pipe(S5); cooling down the outer surface of the pipe having the decorative pattern by a cooling fan(7)(S6); and completing the pipe having the decorative pattern by separating the jigs and peeling off the sublimation film(S7).
