A method for displaying a picture of a digital multimedia broadcasting terminal is provided to enable a user to efficiently use a broadcasting service and a call service simultaneously by displaying images of each service on a main picture and a sub-picture, and dividedly displaying images of each service. A control unit displays a broadcasting service on a main picture(S200). The control unit judges whether an incoming call exists(205). If so, the control unit displays a message asking whether to maintain the broadcasting service(210). If maintenance of the broadcasting service is selected, the control unit changes the main picture and generates a sub-picture at the same time(215,220). If maintenance of the broadcasting service is not selected, the control unit judges whether termination of the broadcasting service is selected(225). If so, the control unit terminates the broadcasting service which is being displayed on the main picture and displays a call service picture in accordance with the incoming call(230). The control unit judges whether the call service is terminated(235).
