摘要 A tandem Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer is provided to obtain a high decomposition capacity and the measurement characteristics of a high sensitivity by producing piece ions in a collision tube. A tandem Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer includes an ion source(10), a skimmer(20), a first ion transfer tube(30), an FT-ICR mass analyzing tube(40), a second ion transfer tube(30'), a collision tube(60), and a vacuum pump. The collision tube produces piece ions by colliding ions with a collision gas and transfers the piece ions to the FT-ICR mass analyzing tube through the second ion transfer tube. The vacuum pump maintains the interiors of the ion source, the skimmer, the first ion transfer tube, the FT-ICR mass analyzing tube, the second ion transfer tube, a collision gas injection opening, and the collision tube.
