RADIO NETWORK CONTROLLER EXCHANGE OF USER EQUIPMENT MEASUREMENT INFORMATION

A drifting wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) has an associated drift radio network controller (D-RNC) 38 and an associated servicing radio network controller (S-RNC) 40. The D-RNC 38 sends a request message to the S-RNC 40 requesting measurements of the drifting WTRU. The S-RNC 40 receives the request message and sends an information message with the requested measurements to the D-RNC 38. The D-RNC 38 receives the information message.
