A PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) applying a dual joystick is provided to increase user convenience by performing diverse information input modes with an information input unit replaceable with multiple buttons installed to select or input information to the PDA. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(130) visually displays a desired result by selecting and/or inputting the information. A directional joystick(140) assigns a direction of a cursor to select the information displayed in the LCD. An input joystick(150) finally inputs the information selected by the directional joystick or quickly calls the desired information. Characters are inputted by a combination of the directions of the directional and input joystick.
