A zigbee hopping network system for long-distance data transceiving and a method therefor is provided to synchronize the time between zigbee modules with power mode conversion time, and perform conversion into an active mode or an idle mode at the same time, and transceive information in the active mode. A zigbee coordinator module sets a zigbee RFD node module, of which signal strength of a search signal, transmitted from plural zigbee RFD node modules, is the greatest, as a master(S105), and performs time-synchronization with the plural zigbee RFD node modules(s111), and transmits active mode conversion time information and idle mode conversion time information to the zigbee RFD node module(S117), and makes the zigbee RFD node module set mode conversion time(S121), and receives/stores information collected from the zigbee RFD node module through the master zigbee RFD node module in an active mode(S123~S127).
