FISHERY RESOURCE RESEARCHING METHOD AND APPARATUS

A fishery resource researching method and apparatus in which the human and economical burdens on the fishery research are lessened while enhancing the accuracy of the research by automating the research of fishery resource on the sea bottom. In each process of resource research by fixing an IC tag to each fishing gear for researching fishery resource on the sea bottom and catching fishery resource with each fishing gear, the IC tag of each fishing gear is read out by means of a tag reader, and the fishing gears are identified, positional information is acquired by GPS, fish catch of each fishing gear is counted by means of a fish catch counter, and the results are processed by means of a computer, thus determining the distribution of fishery resource on the sea bottom automatically.
