A method for updating a data call-related item after performing OTASP in a mobile communication terminal is provided to generate a call-related item update event in an NV(Non-Volatile) task if the OTASP is completed and update items necessary for a data service task, thereby directly updating the data call-related item without performing power reset. A method for updating a data call-related item after performing OTASP(Over The Air Service Provisioning) in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: enabling a data service task(30) to read data-related items from an NV memory according to an access network authentication information update event and update a PPP(Point-to-Point Protocol) variable, and generates the access network authentication information update event to an AN(Access Network) manager(40), and supply it(S16,S18); and enabling the AN manager(40) to read information related to access network authentication from the NV memory and update it(S20,S22).
