A method for communicating digital data using an audio channel is provided to transceive digital data between a PC and an external device without adding any hardware device by using a sound card of the PC. The PC outputs the sampled data through the audio channel of the sound card. A sound device extracts information in frame data by identifying the frame data among the data output from the PC. The information is extracted by synchronizing the sampled data with a frame, analyzing/removing a frame header of the data synchronized with the frame, and extracting the information from the analyzed frame data.
