An image sensor having a current mirror and a driving method thereof are provided to vary an amount of current according to the MOS(Metal Oxide Semiconductor) size of the current mirror. When the reference output current is 4 micro ampere, plural current mirrors(50) are equipped in order to selected an optimum MOS(Metal Oxide Semiconductor) relating to the output current with W of different sizes such as an order of 3.5, 4 and 4.5 micro ampere. The number of MOSs in the current mirror is not limited in order to implement the optimum image. In the MOS, L is fixed and W is controlled so that the current mirror having plural MOS structures is equipped.
