METHOD FOR LENGTHWISE ROLLING OF ARTICLES WITH SINGLE-SIDE DIE ROLLED PROFILE AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of sections with single-side die rolled profile such as spring sheets. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating desired zone of blank; fixing it against shifting at rolling process and performing lengthwise rolling of blank in non-driven flanged rolls from mean portion of blank to its end portion; placing non-heated zone of partially heated blank onto trough at restricting lateral surfaces of blank; centering blank according to preliminarily formed opening; forcing blank and moving it along axis of rolling process to gap formed by flanged rolling rolls and upper supporting plate. Rolling is realized at contact of lower surface of blank with non-driven rolls while positively shifting axes of said non-driven rolls towards upper supporting plate in predetermined zones along length of blank due to profiled lower guide. ^ EFFECT: simplified readjustment process, improved strength of deforming tool and high quality of articles. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg, 1 ex
