FIELD: organic chemistry, veterinary science. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates ton using a compound combining properties of inhibitor of serotonin (5-HT) reverse uptake and agonist of 5-HT1A-receptors as an agent used in treatment of disorders associated with behavior stressors in veterinary medicine. Indicated compound is chosen from the group consisting of 1-[4-(5-cyanoindol-3-yl)butyl]-4-(2-carbamoylbenzofuran-5-yl)-piperazine or its physiologically acceptable salt or 3-{4-[4-(4-cyanophenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-butyl}-1H-indole-5-carbonitrile or its physiologically acceptable salt.
