FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has principle part. The principle part has two opposite longitudinal edge parts, two opposite transverse edge parts and imaginary transverse central line. The principle part has cover layer permeable for liquid and turned towards user body, barrier layer impermeable for liquid turned oppositely from user body, absorbing system placed between the layer permeable for liquid and barrier layer impermeable for liquid. The layer permeable for liquid and barrier layer impermeable for liquid are connected to each other with sealing edge seam running along at least peripheral edge of said absorbing system being formed. At least a part of the sealing edge seam belongs to imaginary plane and contains outer edge part and inner edge part. The inner edge part is placed closer to the absorbing system than the outer edge part. A part of the sealing edge seam belongs to the imaginary plane and has the first and the second zone separated from each other with common boundary. The imaginary base line belongs to the imaginary plane and passes in the direction from the outer edge part to the inner edge part crossing the first zone to the second zone. The first zone shows greater shift stress resistance than the second one. ^ EFFECT: avoided article rupture when detachment from underwear takes place. ^ 24 cl, 5 dwg
