<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a drive shaft (1) with tools removing leaves of a buried product e.g. beet, by a rotary driving effect of the shaft, where the tools are arranged on the length of the shaft. Each of the tools has an endless belt (2) with arrangements exerting a striking force at the top part of the product to cause, in a simultaneous manner, the cutting of the leaves with a limited angular displacement of the belt during striking. The arrangements are constituted of blades integrated with the belts mounted free in rotation on cylindrical bodies (3). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a farm implement, for stripping a buried product e.g. beet (claimed), and other buried products having leaves such as chicory, used in the powdered chicory coffee making industry, and in the inulin making industry. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The arrangement of the tools ensures the simultaneous uprooting and stripping of buried products. The belt is mounted free in rotation on the cylindrical bodies to separate the top part or the head of the product, to remove soil and to eliminate all the leaves of the product. The device combines the angular displacement of the belt with the tension of the belt to limit the risk of clogging causing the rotation of the bodies to slow down. The displacement of the belt at each striking moment reduces the wear and tear of the tools.
