#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a core housing (6) having coaxial portions (7, 9) delimiting an annular space in which an end of a camshaft is mounted, where the portion (7) is adapted to transmit an engine torque to the camshaft. The portion (9) is provided with a hole (17) extending along an axis and receiving a sampling unit of a vacuum pump (3), where the two portions are connected between them by a radial end wall (8). The sampling unit (18) is adapted to sample a lubricating fluid transported inside the camshaft, where the portions and wall are single block. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for coupling a vacuum pump with a camshaft of an internal combustion engine e.g. diesel engine, of a motor vehicle, for transmitting an engine torque from the camshaft to the vacuum pump. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The coaxial portions are connected between them by the radial end wall, thus obtaining a sealed core housing to limit flow of the fluid towards outside. The sampling unit of the vacuum pump is adapted to sample the lubricating fluid transported to inside of the camshaft, thus ensuring a fluidic communication between the camshaft and the pump. The coaxial portions and radial end wall are single block, thus obtaining the device, which is simple, economic and can be easily mounted and transported.
