An applicator for applying aerosol shaving foam or gel which comprises a base to be gripped by a user and a foam spreader made of closed cell EVA Foa m mounted on the base. The body of the spreader has wide openings towards the middle and upper region of the face, and is built wider at the upper end with an arced top. In a preferred embodiment, the spreader body comprises of a flexible inn er body made of Cork-Rubber enclosed by an outer leather casing.
