<p>A drive apparatus sufficiently improves drive efficiency while reducing device size, and lens unit and camera using the drive apparatus. A cam member 60 is driven rotationally by vibration of an oscillator 66 in the lens unit 10, and this rotation of the cam member 60 causes lenses 40, 50 to move forward and back. A complicated drive mechanism using an electromagnetic motor and incumbent gears or cam rings is therefore unnecessary. Construction is thereby simplified and the device can be made compact. Driving the lenses 40, 50 by means of a cam member 60 minimizes energy loss due to friction, and thus sufficiently improves drive efficiency. <IMAGE></p> |
