The engine has an air intake pipe (4) traversing an air cleaner, and a pricking conduit (14) whose upstream end communicates with a decanting device (13) through a regulator (16). A shutter (20) and a central unit (24) control a modification of a section of the air intake pipe, where the shutter and the central unit are associated to the external ventilation in the lower part of the internal combustion engine. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an internal combustion engine of a vehicle.
