#CMT# #/CMT# The unit has a base (2) supporting and maintaining a support post (3) having a traffic sign, in a vertical position, where the post extends along a vertical axis (4). The base (2) comprises a recess (13) that traverses on both sides of the base and receives the support post. A locking unit comprises a square plate with a lower end supported against the post and against an inclined surface of a slot to radially block the post. The locking unit is mounted on the base for allowing detachable mounting of the traffic sign with respect to the body. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for anchoring an information medium post e.g. traffic sign (claimed), police sign and advertisement panel, that is placed on a road for providing an advertisement, indication or road sign related to the traffic of vehicles and persons, to the public. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The unit permits to fix the support post with respect to the ground in an easy manner, while allowing easy removal of the support post, and requires digging of the ground only for arranging the unit. The utilization of the unit permits to avoid the utilization of a hard material for the fixation of the post, thus simplifying the implementation and reducing the installation time. The locking unit allows removing the post in an easy and rapid manner. The unit permits the maintenance of the post with respect to the ground in a desired and reliable manner.
