<p>A method and an apparatus for switching a signal of an audio device for a vehicle are provided to stop a listened signal and perform conversion to talking on the phone or guide broadcast reception if an event of talking on the phone or a GPS guide broadcast is generated while listening to a car stereo. An apparatus for switching a signal of an audio device for a vehicle includes first to third level detectors(110,120,130), a first audio processor(150), a second audio processor(160), and a CPU(140). The first to third level detectors generate first to third detection signals if a signal is detected from a mobile phone signal, a GPS signal, or a multimedia player signal. The CPU outputs one of the mobile phone signal and the GPS signal to a front speaker in correspondence to the prior one of the first and second detection signals.</p> |
