<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink set for inkjet recording which realizes excellent image reproducibility by its extensive color reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink set for inkjet recording is one essentially consisting of a yellow ink, a magenta ink, and a cyan ink, wherein at least one color ink among the yellow ink, the magenta ink, and the cyan ink is provided with first and second inks the metric hue angles h of which are different from each other across the color region of the normal color of the color ink.
