<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make secret a specified subject projected in an image. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for making an image secret comprises an imaging means which picks up an image containing a secret target and outputs an image signal of the image containing the secret target; a specified subject detecting means which detects a specified subject within the image containing the secret target and outputs a detecting signal, indicating the presence of the specified subject; and a secret processing means which recognizes, as a secret target, an image portion of the specified subject from the image containing the secret target, based on the image signal and the detecting signal and applies secret processing to the secret target portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
