<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for responding to a request from a user desiring to perform an operation in a fine energy saving mode as like changes devices to which electric power supplying should be stopped in response to a use situation of a user, and desiring to save power consumption in saving energy as much as possible while quickly starting up a function to be frequently used in receovering. <P>SOLUTION: The equipment sets devices to which the power supplying should be stopped in order of ascending use frequencies (S502), on the basis of the use frequencies for each device to be managed on equipment sides (S501) until the power consumption falls within the scope (S508) of a target power consumption value set by the user (S503) then the equipment shifts to a power saving mode in accordance with the setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
