<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of estimating and/or evaluating a physiological function significant in fluctuation, based on a pattern of factor fluctuated in a specified physiological condition, a program for executing the method by a computer, and a device provided with a means for executing the method. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of the present invention, whether respective functions are functions characteristic to fluctuation in the specified physiological condition or not is evaluated using a statistical assay technique, using a list of physiological functions and factors carrying the functions, a high evaluation function is selected out of the plurality of functions when the plurality of functions is input, an assay is repeated using a plurality of threshold values or the like, in response to necessity, when an assay result is not reproduced because of setting of the threshold value, selection of an assay technique or the like, and a plurality of evaluation results is output or shown by a figure at the same time.
