PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing and managing method of a secondary battery, useful for a manufacture and management of a battery and battery pack by recording an information of each secondary battery during a manufacturing process of a secondary battery or information during usage of the battery. SOLUTION: An IC tag 2 is fixed on a secondary battery 1 and information necessary for a production management of a secondary battery 1 or information necessary for manufacturing a battery pack using the secondary battery 1, or the like are recorded in the IC tag 2. By making information recorded in the IC tag 2 to be re-writable and recording information during usage of a battery after manufacture and shipment of the secondary batter 1, it will become helpful for a cause investigation of a failure occurrence and an improvement of the secondary battery, or the like.
