PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform signal separation which is suitable to a mixed signal mixed in actual environment wherein an unsteady noise is present. SOLUTION: The product of a short-time discrete Fourier transformation arithmetic result X(f, m) of time-series data x(n) and a separate matrix W(f) is calculated to find Y(f, m). A differential form of a Pearson distribution system determined with parameters found from the Y(f, m) is used as a score function and a new separate matrix W(f) is repeatedly found from a score function arithmetic resultΦ(Y(f, m)) of the Y(f, m) and the separate matrix W(f) to optimize the separate matrix W(f). An arithmetic result of the product of the optimized separate matrix W(f) and X(f, m) is processed through short-time discrete Fourier transformation to obtain a separate signal.
