PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display apparatus including a heat sink capable of uniformly cooling each driving chip packaged to at least one signal transmission means. SOLUTION: The plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel for embodying an image, a chassis base arranged in the opposite direction of the surface on which the image of the plasma display panel is embodied, a driving circuit section arranged in the direction of the chassis base opposite to the plasma display panel, a signal transmission means which packages the driving chip mounted in at least a part by electrically connecting the driving circuit section and the plasma display panel, and a protection plate which is fixed to the chassis base, protects the signal transmission means and includes a plurality of the heat sinks. The heat dissipation efficiency of the heat sink in the central part of the protection plate among the heat sinks is higher than the heat dissipation efficiency of the heat sink at the edges of the protection plate.
