PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for smoothly advancing a presentation when the presentation is carried out by using a mobile computer. SOLUTION: The presentation assisting device which assists the presentation carried out by displaying images for the presentation on the display screen of a mobile computer and is connected to the mobile computer is equipped integrally with an operation information reception section which receives operation information for operating the images for the presentation displayed on the display screen of the mobile computer, an operation information transmission section which transmits the received operation information to the mobile computer, an image acquisition section which acquires images for advancing the presentation from the mobile computer, and an image display section which displays the acquired images for advancing the presentation.
