PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously attain reduction in the size and weight of the whole compressor, reduction in noise and vibration, and an improvement in reliability and performance, in a hermetic scroll compressor for helium. SOLUTION: This hermetic scroll compressor for helium is constituted so that a working medium discharged by including ignition oil is introduced to an electric motor room 1b1 under a compressor part 2 via a communicating passage 18 formed between the compressor part 2 and a sealed vessel 1, and is also introduced to a space 1b2 under an electric motor part 3 via a bow-shaped passage 25b formed between a stator core 3a and the sealed vessel 1, and is further introduced above the electric motor part 3 via the other bow-shaped passage 25c formed between the stator core 3a and the sealed vessel 1, and is further discharged to an external part via a discharge pipe 19. The discharge pipe 19 is positioned and arranged on the opposite side of a passage 18, and one 25b of the four bow-shaped passages is oppositely arranged in the vertical direction just under this passage 18, and this core cut surface 25b is positioned in a position equal to the outer periphery of a coil end 3a2 or on the central side more than this position.
