PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance recyclability of a buckling shield machine 1 by recycling a rear drum joint frame 13 and a front drum joint frame 23 for another buckling shield machine. SOLUTION: This buckling shield machine comprises: a rear drum 5; a front drum 7 which is bendably connected to the rear drum 5; a plurality of shield jacks 35 which are circumferentially arranged at intervals in the rear drum 5, and which make the front and rear drums 5 and 7 advance by pressing an assembled segment S against an excavated wall surface in a backward direction; a plurality of buckling jacks 37 which are circumferentially arranged at intervals from the inside of the front drum 7 to that of the rear drum 5, and which make the front drum 7 bent with respect to the rear drum 5; and a cutter head 41 which is rotatably provided in a bulkhead frame 21 of the front drum 7. The rear drum joint frame 13 of the rear drum 5, and the front drum joint frame 23 of the front drum 7 are positioned inside the plurality of shield jacks 35 when seen from a cross section.
