PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering member for a vehicle capable of mounting peripheral parts without using a bracket. SOLUTION: It is not necessary to previously mount the bracket on a steering member body 2 and it is possible to reduce the number of parts and working manhours as it is devised so that bead parts 6, 9 are formed bulged on a steering member body 2 and the peripheral members such as a vent grill 7, a meter 13, etc. are mounted on top surfaces of the bead parts 6, 9. It is possible to improve rigidity of a periphery of the bead parts 6, 9 on the steering member main body 2 and to improve mounting rigidity of the peripheral parts against the bead part 6, 9 as the bead parts 6, 9 are continuously formed in the cross-section circumferential direction of the steering member body 2. It is possible to compensate lowering of rigidity of the steering member body 2 due to formation of an opening 5 by the bead part 6 as the bead part 6 is formed at a proximate position of the opening 5.
