PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation auxiliary device for a vehicle to perform an operational reaction force control and a braking/driving force control in which balance is well taken between transmitting the risk potential and the driving will of a driver. SOLUTION: A controller calculates the risk potential to express the degree of the own vehicle approaching an ahead lying obstacle and calculates the control amount of the operational reaction force to be generated in an accelerator pedal according to the risk potential and the correction amount of a braking/driving force generated in the vehicle concerned. For the operational reaction force control amount according to the risk potential and the correction amount of the braking/driving force, the degree of preference is determined for judging which is taken in priority, transmitting the risk potential or the driving will of the driver. In case the risk potential is larger, the degree of preference is decided so that a control with the driver's will taken in priority is conducted when the accelerator pedal is stamped in.
