PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher by which a washing efficiency can be enhanced by properly shifting water supply to a washing nozzle. SOLUTION: The dishwasher has a water dividing means 17 shifting washing nozzles 8 supplied with washing water, the water dividing means 17 has a flowing in portion 18 into which the washing water flows, a casing 21 having a plurality of flowing out portion 20a to 20d in communication with the plurality of washing nozzles 8 respectively, and a valve body 23 provided with an opening portion 19 so as to oppose to at least one of the flowing out portions 20 and rotatably arranged such that the opened flowing out portions 20 are shifted, the adhesion of closed portions of the flowing out portions 20 and the valve body 23 is enhanced by arranging an elastomer 25 in the closed portion of the flowing out portions 20 in the valve body 23, thereby water leakage to areas other than the water flowing out portions 20 supplied with the washing water is eliminated, the washing water can be effectively discharged.
