PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, which can be assembled easily corresponding to types of floor, and which allows miniaturization of the floor nozzle for the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: A rotor 2 has a plurality of groove parts 4 spirally formed on an outer peripheral face with twist angles of 360 degrees or greater. A cleaning element 3 mounted to the groove parts 4 is formed by combining two or more selected from a brush-like cleaning element A3a composed of fine fibers, a blade-like cleaning element B3b formed of a soft material, a cleaning element C (not in the figure) formed of a wiping cloth, and a brush-like cleaning element D (not in the figure) formed of fibers harder than that of the cleaning element A3a. The twist angles of the groove parts 4 are 360 degrees or greater so as to considerably reduce sliding resistance between a surface to be cleaned and the cleaning element 3, and to miniaturize a driving source (not in the figure) for rotating the rotor 1.
