Injector (10) has a coupler plunger (42), which is arranged in the working chamber (24), between working chamber sided end (26) of nozzle needle (14) and sealing element (13) of coupling element (42). Coupling element and sealing element are arranged relatively to each other so that they can come in contact with each other during their movement in opposite directions when the servo valve (12) is open.
