The connection has an interface pipe (2) with a nipple like end that projects over a lower side of fuselage of an airplane and with small length. A drain mast pipe (3) has an end to connect with the end of the pipe (2). The pipe (3) is surrounded by housing which is bolted at the fuselage and/or against the flange of the pipe (2) using screws (16) that are loosened. O-ring (8) is fitted between overlapping sections of the two pipes. The drain-mast pipe has an end with a metal socket, which is manufactured from copper. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a drain-mast attachment (2) a drain-mast pipe for an airplane (3) an airplane with a drain-mast connection and the drain-mast attachment.
